Captain Thomas W. “Bill” Dillion, 49, died in the line of duty on Wednesday morning, March 14, 2012, while working a small blaze at an apartment complex in southwest Houston. He collapsed after the fire was extinguished. Captain Dillion was a 22 year veteran with the Houston Fire Department. He is survived by a grown son and two teenage children.
