Officer Antonio Guzman Jr. and his partner, Officer Mills, stopped a suspect’s car and observed narcotic paraphernalia in the vehicle. During this time, the suspect drew a small caliber pistol and opened fire striking Officer Guzman. Both Officers Guzman and Mills fired several rounds at the suspect wounding him. Officer Guzman was rushed to a nearby hospital, but passed away before arrival.
